Reporting a Bug

Reporting a Bug

Help us improve sunnypilot by reporting issues you encounter.

Before Reporting

1. Check if the issue has already been reported on GitHub Issues
2. Try the latest version — the bug may already be fixed
3. Check the Discord Community for known issues

What to Include

• Device info — Hardware model, software version, branch
• Vehicle info — Make, model, year
• Steps to reproduce — What you did leading up to the issue
• Expected behavior — What should have happened
• Actual behavior — What actually happened
• Logs — If possible, include relevant log files

How to Report

1. Go to GitHub Issues
2. Use the bug report template
3. Fill in all requested information
4. Submit the issue

!!! tip The more detail you provide, the faster we can diagnose and fix the issue.
